Planning our next vacation...HELP!!

So we've started thinking about our vacation for 2016. There will only be one major trip for the year, since we are saving for our new home. So this trip will be birthday celebrations and wedding anniversary all in one. Looking for a location that will give us some relaxation, culture and fun. Also, want to go somewhere neither of us have been before. Remember in my 16 before 16 blog, my goal was to finalize where we are going and book it. Well now I need to make a decision and cross this off the list by next month.

So we narrowed it down to these 4 vacay spots:

Costa Rica

I have a list of places I want to visit and Costa Rica is in the top 10. I'm a sucker for breathtaking views and adventure and I think this place would feed my appetite for sure! It's a little pricier, but with good planning and budgeting, it will be doable. I'd love to do a zip line in the rain forest and visit a volcano.

Mexico (Cancun or Cabo)

I've never been to Mexico. Nope, not even for spring break. I always jetted to Miami because I loved South Beach and didn't want language to be a barrier for me. Now I feel like the only person who hasn't visited Mexico, so it made the list. If we go, I'd love to see Cancun or Cabo. Leaning more towards Cabo though. It just looks so pretty. This will be a good trip for yummy food, laying on the beach and partying a little. Also would love to tour some of the ancient ruins.

New Orleans

Okay I know I have been to NOLA before, but I've never been for pleasure. Had to work and only had 1 day to try and see the city. Never got a chance to fully take it all in. However, in just a short time, I fell head over hills in love with this place. The food, the music, the food, the people, the culture, the FOOD!! Loved everything about it!! Now I want to go back and take some time to see it in all its glory. I want to do a swamp tour and a horse & carriage ride down Magazine Street. Most of all I want to inhale 1 million beignets.

Jamaica (AGAIN!!)

Yes yes yes this is where we had our destination wedding last year, but I wish I had more time to enjoy it. Before the wedding day, I was running around and we had family to entertain. After the wedding, all I wanted to do was be still on the beach with a drink in my hand. We didn't get out to see just how beautiful Jamrock really is. If we do go, I'd love to visit Negril--that way it technically is a place we have never been to :-) I want to walk the 7 mile beach, go snorkeling and of course eat delicious food!!

So where should we go? I'd love some feedback if you have been to these locations or feel free to suggest any awesome travel spots not listed. Thanks in advance!!
